Synesthesia

Synesthesia finds Sonic Skillz exploring synthwave with a midtempo instrumental built around layered synthesizers, steady drums, and a dreamy, atmospheric sound. Drawing from a style outside his usual hip-hop and R&B territory, the track emphasizes electronic textures and melody while maintaining a strong rhythmic foundation.

The title takes inspiration from synesthesia, a phenomenon in which one sensory experience can trigger another, such as associating sounds with colors. Reflecting Sonic Skillz’s own experiences with music and sensory perception, Synesthesia offers a different side of his production style, with an emphasis on mood, texture, and the atmosphere created by the music itself.
